An Apple iPhone update a day makes the customers want to stay. Apple’s iPhone 16e is here, and thousands of people are dying to get their hands on it. Apple knows staying ahead matters—and the same goes for social media. People care about what’s new and trendy, and things move fast–so you have to, too! Staying on top of and participating in trends on TikTok and Instagram Reels could make you the next “cool” and trendy brand consumers want to be a part of, regardless of what you do.

Bowe Digital can help! We share an update on what’s trending each month on video and audio, so all you have to do is get behind the camera. If you need help getting started on TikTok, check out our TikTok ebook. We also offer Studio Days, where our team will join you for 4 to 6 hours of video recording at a great price.

I Met My Younger Self Video Trend

You’ve got a coffee date, and it’s with YOU. To participate in this trend, consider what you would tell a younger version of yourself and write a short script. Compare what you were like and what you prioritized when you started your career versus now. Check out this example from the CEO of HeyOrca. Tip: Don’t be afraid to get a little sappy and sentimental.

Don’t Get Caught in The Video Video Trend

This trend is the perfect workaround for those teammates who moan and groan about being on camera. Call it a morning icebreaker and get your coworkers into a room together. Then, blindfold one of them and give them a camera (any phone camera will do). Have that person run around taking pictures like this while the rest of your team does what they do best by trying not to get caught in the frame. Finally, reveal any funny photos captured like this example.

Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself Audio Trend

We can’t think of a better sound to introduce yourself or the people on your team in a more fun and creative way. Pair it with a swivel chair like this example by the @thedentalbarco team, or add more text, like this example, from a Michigan real estate agent @meredithstewart.

I’m Asking For 100K Audio Trend

An American woman didn’t just go viral for flying to Pakistan to marry a 19-year-old, but also for this audio clip demanding money from the Pakistan government. It’s an insane story, which you can read more about here, but for now, let’s talk about how to use this sound. Pair it with any big request, like this example about working overtime. Or make it more specific to your industry by saying something like, “When you ask a home seller how much they want to sell for.”

Daily Mail Headline CapCut Template

We live for the drama. Tell us about something you did in your personal or professional life and exaggerate the consequences in your headline. In this example, a puppy considers legal action after its owner eats a snack without sharing. Here’s another example from a content creator.

Work Drama CapCut Template

A duo as iconic as Key and Peele? It has to be you and your work bestie. Use this CapCut to highlight your negative interactions at work and the things you would gossip about. Just tread lightly and keep things light-hearted and funny rather than offensive.

What’s Bowe Up To?

We recently got together in Carmel, Indiana for our annual content camp meeting. Once a year, we put all 19 of our brains together (in person) and dedicate two full days to brainstorming new ideas and services for our customers. We share what’s working, what’s not and what’s to come for each business we work with and develop a personalized content plan for the months ahead.

In 2025, you have to do things differently to stand out. That means incorporating more videos than ever, localizing your content, participating in trends and thinking ahead. If you haven’t updated your marketing strategy, now is the time. Contact Bradley Erb on our team at bradley@bowedigital.com to discuss your marketing goals.
